To celebrate its Ninth Anniversary in Colonial Beach, JarrettThor Fine Arts will present works by four of its award-winning gallery artists; Aaron Bowles, Barry de Baun, Pat Troiani and the late Ross Merrill. The show’s Opening Reception is Friday September 9th from 6-9 PM. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited free of charge.
Aaron Bowles from Tappahannock presents striking boats and seascapes. Barry de Baun from New York State paints dramatic Hudson River scenes. Pat Troiani from Solomons, MD specializes in beautiful flowers and still life. The late Ross Merrill, formerly of the National Gallery of Art, has painted stately river landscapes.
In addition, there will be a large collection of motorcycle-related art in preparation for the Third Annual Colonial Beach Bike Fest on October 6-9.
Also author Betty Ellett will be signing her new children’s book: “ABC’s From the James River”. And Author David Holland and Illustrator Phil McKenney will be signing their very timely new book, “Who’d You Vote For, er…Against?”.
And there will be a special sale of the late Candy Livingston’s unique jewelry in addition to other special items.
On site at JarrettThor will be the Tarver Harris Design Studio featuring paintings and silk scarves. JarrettThor will also have its decorative minerals, reed baskets, and wooden bowls.
